Kiki Rice may be young, but her resume already speaks for itself. The incoming UCLA freshman is the most decorated in the program’s history with two Gatorade National Player of the Year honors, 2022 Wooden and Naismith Player of the Year awards, and 2022 McDonald’s All-American Game Co-MVP to name a few. Now add the first NIL athlete for Jordan Brand to the list as the news has officially been announced today.

“Being Jordan Brand’s first NIL athlete is an incredible milestone, and I think it’s a testament to the hard work I’ve put in and all the people around me who have helped me get to this point,” says Rice. “Signing with the Jordan Brand is another motivating factor for me to continue to work hard and achieve my goals.”

Along with the Jumpman, Rice will collaborate on ways to serve Rice’s local community, like helping improve gender equity in sports for young girls.

“One of my biggest passions is gender equity, especially in sports. Being an athlete, I experienced firsthand a lot of inequity, and I think leveling the playing field between boys and girls at a young age is something that I’m really passionate about in terms of helping bridge the gap.”
