Kicks On Court: LeBron’s Teammates Ditch the Soldier III

In Cleveland’s last two games, team unity was shown by all players wearing the Nike Zoom LeBron Soldier III. It is always nice to see ball clubs of all sports showing team spirit, however, while all wearing LeBron’s 2009 playoff shoe, the Cavs lost both games. Last night, our Kicks On Court spotted James’ teammates switching their sneakers up, and the outcome was different. Was it the shoes?

In game 5 of the Orlando Magic-Cleveland Cavaliers series, Daniel Gibson, Ben Wallace, Zydrunas Illgauskas and other Cavs players all ditched the Soldier III for their regular, every-game sneakers. Illgauskas still showed LeBron some love by lacing up the Zoom Soldier II, yet, Gibson and Wallace hooped in the Hyperdunk and the Air Blue Chip, respectively. Maybe variety is better for the Cavs!
