Kicks On Court: LA Visits NY

In mid-December of 2008, our Kicks On Court spotlighted the New York Knicks Vs. LA Lakers game in which we spotted some very nice PEs from the players and courtside onlookers. Last night, the Lakers returned the favor and traveled to New York to battle the Knicks in which we spotted some more nice PEs and other sneakers.

Los Angeles Lakers superstar Kobe Bryant laced up the “Del Sol” colorway of his Nike Zoom Kobe 4 for just the second time this season. Similar to the “Carpe Diem” version, worn by Trevor Airza in this game, this colorway features a predominately black upper. However, its accents colors are white and yellow as opposed to the purple seen in the “Carpe Diem”. Lamar Odom sported the “Del Sol” colorway last night as well.

On the sideline, we spotted rap mogul Jay Z sporting the colorful DJ Busy P 1World Nike Air Force 1, while producer Spike Lee pulled out his New York Knicks-inspired Jordan Spizike. If you recall, Spike Lee sported this exact sneaker when New York visited LA earlier this year. More sneakers worn by Quentin Richardson, Chris Paul, Dwayne Wade, Josh Howard and others after the jump.
