All eyes were on Kobe Bryant as he returned to the hardwood after rupturing his achilles tendon just eight months ago. His play after being out so long was obviously the focal point of his return to many onlookers, but an abundance were eager to see the pair of shoes he would choose for his return. While some expected to him to debut his ninth signature shoe, the Nike Kobe 9, Bryant opted – instead – to wear the Prelude Nike Kobe I, which pays tribute to his 81-point game against the Toronto Raptors, the team in which the Lakers hosted tonight.
