Milestones and Achievements

October 28th, 2014 – Dallas Mavericks vs. San Antonio Spurs (TNT) – Jordan Brand has a history of supplying its champions with a head-turning exclusive on Ring Ceremony Night (see Ray Allen). With Kawhi Leonard being one of the up-and-coming stars in the NBA, look for Jordan Brand to provide him with an awesome player exclusive for San Antonio’s season opener.

October 29th, 2014 – Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Portland Trail Blazers (ESPN) – Sneaker free agent Kevin Durant has yet to decide which brand he’ll be running with next season, so all eyes will undoubtedly be on his feet come OKC’s season opener against the Portland Trail Blazers.

Week 1 or Week 2 of December, 2014 – Don’t look now, but Ray Allen is only 27 three-pointers away from reaching the 3,000 mark. He averages close to two three-pointers per game, so if he decides to play this season, look for him to reach the milestone around Week 1 or Week 2 of December (a Cleveland Cavaliers vs. New York Knicks nationally televised matchup happens around this time at the Garden). Much like Jordan Brand’s offering to him of an Air Jordan 13 PE for his shattering of Reggie Miller’s three-point record a few years ago, we expect the brand to cook up something great for Jesus Shuttlesworth.

December 30th, 2014Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Atlanta Hawks (NBA League Pass) – King James reaches 30 on the second to last day of 2014. It’s been eight years since Nike Basketball created a celebratory sneaker for his birthday – the “Birthday Bundle” Nike Zoom LeBron IV. A special exclusive for his 30th wouldn’t be a bad idea.
