Coming out of high school as the second-ranked prep player in the country, Kevin Durant chose to take his game to Austin and play for Rick Barnes and the Texas Longhorns. KD would instantly dominate the college basketball landscape, ending the year with the Wooden Award as the National Player of the Year. Although teammates A.J. Abrams and Damion James continued the Air Jordan pace that Durant was with in high school, #35 kept it simple all year in the Nike Air Max Enforcer and Nike Huarache 64 over the course of his historic year at the Swoosh school.
