Kendrick Lamar’s ongoing partnership with Reebok continues to flourish ahead of their collaborate Club C global release next week. Leading up to this spring 2017 offering, Lamar took part in a video series shot by acclaimed director Nabil.
The Reebok Club C, a staple tennis shoe since 1985, is the focal point of this “Holds Court” campaign that sees Lamar shot in front of a projection of Compton High School’s tennis court. Nabil utilizes this abstraction to hone in on Lamar’s values intrinsic to both him and the sneaker; fearlessness, confidence and expression.
