San Antonio Spurs All-Star forward Kawhi Leonard is known for his quiet demeanor anchored by a laser focus. He says about as little in press conferences as his coach Gregg Popovich, doing much of his speaking through his play. But in a new Foot Locker ad, Leonard goes on an unexpected tear in his new Air Jordan 1 “Gatorade” kicks.

Produced in partnership with Jordan Brand, the clip starts with Kawhi in the locker room where he’s gifted the “Orange” Gatorade 1s by teammate LaMarcus Aldridge. From there, Leonard embarks on the most unexpected of days as he practices karate, cruises in a low-rider, hits a recording studio with Nipsy Hussle, tears it up at a nightclub with Les Twins, all the while chronicling his day on social media. But when asked about his exploits by a reporter, Kawhi replies in the most Kawhi way possible: “I was hacked.”

The campaign highlights the upcoming release of the Air Jordan “Gatorade” Collection, which of course includes the Air Jordan 1 “Gatorade” pack in four flavorways – Orange, Lemon Lime, Grape and Cool Blue – releasing on December 26 and Air Jordan 6 “Gatorade” dropping on December 30. All pairs will be available at Foot Locker stores nationwide and online.

Check out the “Bold Like Kawhi” clip below and anticipate its national broadcast debut on ESPN during the NBA Christmas Day games.
