British designer JW Anderson introduced his collaborative partnership with Converse back in 2017. The union was ignited by a set of Converse Chuck 70s uniquely covered in contrasting shades of textured glitter.
Initially, this seemed rather overt, yet the shoe quickly became one of the most sought after sneaker of 2018 after releasing in the December of 2017.
Anderson returns to the popular theme through the lens of his Run Star Hike, an exaggerated take on the Chuck 70 with an elevated midsole. He brings back the popular pink/blue color palette with another that’s even bolder by comparison.
The tri-paneled, mismatching “Glitter Gutter” Run Star Hike quickly stands as a signature sneaker staple, which Anderson has created in his partnership with Converse in just two years.
