Artist and CLSC founder Joshua Vides, known for his hand-painted black and white works of art, has recently taken to social media to tease his next upcoming partnership with New Balance.
Having already teamed up with some of the biggest names in the industry, including Fendi and BMW, Vides is heading back to his sneaker roots with a forthcoming Joshua Vides x New Balance 57/40. From initial looks, we can see the cream-based model will be doused in Vides’ signature details seeing the eyestay and “N” insignia being outlined in black to give off a 2D effect.
In a post shared by Vides, the artist teased what could potentially be the packaging for the special collab which looks like plywood crates with the word “FRAGILE” strewn across it.
After dropping on his website last week, the Joshua Vides x New Balance 57/40 gets a wider launch on November 13th via newbalance.com and at select retailers, with the sneaker retailing for $150. Keep it locked here for more imagery and pricing notes.
