Having already teamed up with some of the biggest names in the industry, including Fendi, BMW, and New Balance, artist and CLSC founder Joshua Vides, known for his hand-painted black and white works of art, is now teaming up with Converse.
Tapping into his design roots, the eye-catching Joshua Vides x Converse Chuck 70 is decked out in a fully customizable exterior Tyvek®shroud, while the sneaker’s overall monochromatic scheme plays into Vides’ signature 2D aesthetics. The most noteworthy aspect of this offering is a 3D-printed polka dot pattern hidden underneath the shroud. Rounding out the final design cues is the pylon doodle spotlighted on the midsole along with co-branding on the rear and underneath the heel pull tab.
Along with the Chuck 70, the duo is also releasing a collaborative Pro Leather and Weapon CX.
The Joshua Vides x Converse Chuck 70 is set to release on March 10 at 10 am EST via Converse.com and select retailers such as Feature. The pair will retail for $120. For more upcoming drops, check out our dedicated Sneaker Release Dates Calendar.
