The Bayou Boys colorway began on the Air Jordan 34 for New Orleans Pelicans star Zion Williamson and has made its way onto the Air Jordan 35 and Air Jordan 1 High Zoom Air CMFT as well and the signature colorway for Zion makes its way to Zion’s signature Jordan Zion 1.
The upper uses different shades of olive green on the upper with a multilayered mesh around the forefoot and a faux croc skin print on the rear. Fuse overlays are seen around the toecap and seam lines with two bright orange lace loops around at the bottom for accenting. The Jumpman and Zion’s logo appear on each tongue respectively with Zion’s signature running down the heel pulltab and “LET’S DANCE” printed on the insole in homage to his viral sound bite on draft night. The midsole appears in cream with a full-length Air Strobel setup with Zoom Air added to the forefoot for ultimate impact protection. Lastly, a gum outsole finishes off the sneaker.
The Jordan Zion 1 “Bayou Boys” is set to drop in the near future on Nike.com and at select retailers for $120. Check out the official images below and our Jordan Release Dates page for all things Jordan Brand.
