Just before the annual 2023 NBA All-Star Game, Jordan Brand and Jayson Tatum announced the arrival of JT’s first signature shoe the Jordan Tatum 1. This latest release is one of four Jordan Tatum 1 sneakers hitting the shelves this summer during the NBA Finals.
Tatum says the inspiration behind the shoe comes from his desire to connect to children when they first walk into a shoe store and feel like they know him on a personal level.
The shoe features a lightweight reinforced TPU frame with an uncaged Zoom Air unit at the forefoot providing energy without sacrificing grip. Both JT and Jordan branding is seen on the tongues and lateral side, followed by a pull tab on the heel.
