One of the most zany and recognized colorways reappears on the upcoming Jordan Series 01 “What The.” This eclectic and mismatched colorway was also recently seen on a leaked sample pair of the Air Jordan 1 Low OG “What The SoleFly.”
Usually the “What The” color treatment incorporates a variety of different patterns, but the Jordan Series 01 opts for bold color-blocking instead. Textiles like suede, canvas, and mesh create the upper. Cool tones like blue, green, and grey make up one shoe. Meanwhile the other shoe uses warmer colors like red, orange, and brown. Both shoes feature a small touch of cheetah print suede seen on the sides of the eyestays. The lateral side of the sneaker is marked with a “Dear Series” logo that matches the branding on the tongue. One insole features a Jumpman while the other reads, “Swing For The Fences.”
