It comes as no surprise that Michael Jordan’s Jordan Brand empire has once again redefined the sneaker game with its all-new Delta 2 silhouette.
Acting as an expansion of its Delta lifestyle franchise, the Jordan Delta 2, which only debuted earlier this year, has already begun making waves due to its retrofuturistic build and heritage-inspired colorways.
The model’s multi-layered upper gives it both a high-tech and deconstructed feel, while overlays reminiscent of the Air Jordan 13 in both mesh and soft suede add further embellishments. Down below is an updated React foam-cushioned midsole. Further elevating the look is an opaque support structure on the lateral heel and a debossed #23 motif as a salute to G.O.A.T., Michael Jordan.
To celebrate the launch of the Delta 2, Jordan Brand has tapped both the industry’s movers and shakers and Jumpman family members to showcase how they’ve integrated these new kicks into their personal style. For the Jordan Delta 2 women’s exclusive “Hyper Royal” and “Orange” colorway, Jordan Brand called upon Houston-based creative educator and digital artist @Kimmiskart to display her spin on the sneaker. Additionally, Atlanta-based co-founder and chief executive of the gathering spot, Ryan Wilson, and Chicago-based content creator and blogger, Nick Bailey, show off their Delta 2 in their own ways.
To coincide with the Jordan Delta 2, Jordan Brand will release matching apparel items for both men and women, the former under its 23 Engineered collection and the latter under its Next Utility sub-label.
