Jordan Brand is celebrating the upcoming Chinese zodiac with a new collection starring the 20th anniversary Air Jordan 12 and the Air Jordan XXX1.
Featuring a modern rendering of the “Taxi” equipped with Chinese specific design cues and hardware, the offering then moves to a girl’s exclusive Air Jordan 12 in Metallic Gold/Red alongside a uniquely crafted Air Jordan XXX1 aligned in bamboo trimming. This CNY collection will also be accompanied by an apparel collection.
Nike has confirmed to Sneaker News that the Jordan “Chinese New Year” Collection will begin its release scheduled on December 25 at Jordan.com followed by region specific retailers (Hong Kong Kicks Lounge, Beijing Yaxin, Shanghai WZK, Guangzhou XH55 and Taipei PHANTACi) on January 7, 2017. A U.S. release date will reportedly follow on January 28, 2017. Stay tuned for more.
