According to Sole Retriever, the Jordan Airship PE SP WMNS “Hornets” will drop for Summer 2024 and will feature a visually striking colorway comprising icy blue chill and vibrant court purple accents throughout its sail construction. The former hue finds is spotlighted on the leather eyestays, as well as the hairy suede collar and profile Swooshes, while the latter is featured on the liner, tongue branding, laces, and rubber outsole. Rounding out the final design cues is the sail midsole for a vintage look.
This upcoming offering holds a distinctive place in sneaker history considering Michael Jordan graced the court in the Air Ship. He, however, is no longer an owner of the NBA team.
