The John Geiger 001 is a high-end shoe, born from a personal void most luxury brands failed to fill. Not only did John Geiger fill that void but his eyes are set on creating a brand that leads in luxury comfort. Essentially, the John Geiger 001 is meant to be a true medium between luxury and street.
With this is mind, this John Geiger 001 “Matte Yellow Python” is his craziest creation yet. Set to make their debut during New York Fashion Week, among other exclusive colorways, these will be seen on the foot of John Geiger himself.
Completely wrapped in a premium matte yellow python skin, every detail is accounted for. The rolled seams on the toe box and heel offer almost an optical illusion between layers while still maintaining the python grains all the way up to the tongue. The ankle collar is triple rolled creating a balance between soft and hard to offer luxury support on this mid construction.
Geiger, together with his partner, traveled the globe over a year to create and execute their very own Air Bladder. Larger than most air units in the industry, it brings luxury to the street for an everyday sneaker for any event. The sole consists of three individual parts, the Air Bladder, a bright white midsole and “shark tooth” outsole creating a hovering effect making it one of the most comfortable experiences a luxury shoe can have. Above all, the subtlest, yet equally important detail is the “John Geiger 001” insignia stamped on the tongue.
