Jacob Ferrato, aka JBFCustoms on IG, is one of the top names in the customs game. Known for his retooling of various Jordans with exotic materials like Python to his very first original handmade to order silhouette the Primo; JBF’s star continues to rise with no signs of stopping. However, just three years ago Ferrato wasn’t as well known. In fact, he would hit up the Hypebeast staff with emails of all his custom work just to be featured on the site. Looks like his hard work has finally paid off as JBF and Hypebeast team up for a very special collaborative effort.
Their first official installment yields 15 pairs of Air Jordan 1 consisting of black and grey genuine python leather in both matte and suede finishes. Premium leather is also utilized for the sock liner and JBFs logo seen on the tongue tag all sitting atop a white midsole and black outsole. These sold out at HBX, but look for more heat from JBF in the future.
