Among the larger stories to emerge today from the Cleveland Cavaliers camp during their Media Day is that newly acquired Isaiah Thomas could be available as early as Christmas, allowing the point guard to take part in the rematch of the 2017 NBA Finals. Thomas is recovering from a hip injury, and reported to be making “real progress” throughout his ongoing rehabilitation.
Thomas’ first Cavs Media Day was promising indeed, as the University of Washington product was all smiles in his new Nike uniform. He also made reference to his famous new teammate, LeBron James, by wearing his Nike Air Zoom Generation retro.
