ASICS’ first Canadian flagship store is finally open, but recently we got an early preview of the amazing space! Located in the heart of downtown Toronto, the space features an impressive two floors of retail space – the main floor housing performance oriented footwear and apparel, and the top floor carrying ASICSTIGER lifestyle pieces.
The space features floor to ceiling glass windows, with two distinct themes found on each of the store’s two floors. The main floor has a very outdoorsy and naturesque feel, with faux plants draping the ceiling lights, and wooden countertops throughout the store. They offer apparel and footwear for all types of outdoor runs, including road running shoes, trail shoes, and even a section for kids!
In contrast, the top floor which houses the lifestyle ASICSTIGER brand, is much more minimalistic, clean and bright. The main wall is filled with a wide array of silhouettes, like the iconic GEL-Lyte III and V, along with apparel including ASICS branded headwear.
Of course, it wouldn’t be a launch party without catered food, open bar and live entertainment!

All in all, a great night, and a great addition to Toronto’s booming sneaker and athleisure scene. For years we’ve been missing a strong ASICS presence in the city, let alone the entire country, so this is a long but much welcomed overdue entrance by ASICS Canada!
