The Nike Zoom KD IV was initially met with mixed reviews at best. However, two colorways changed the shoe’s fortune forever. The first of the two released was actually the second to be seen. Kevin Durant pulled inspiration from his childhood dreams of being a meteorologist for the Nike Zoom KD IV “Weatherman”. Stadium green covered the front half of the upper, but the highlight of the shoe was the infrared doppler-inspired pattern on the heel and lining. The infrared motif took the form of a foot on the bottom of the shoe.

Exactly one year ago, the Nike Zoom KD IV “Weatherman”?released in limited quantities. As you can imagine, the desire to own a pair was enormous. November would prove to be a hot month for the KD IV, and it sparked the momentum that made the model one of the best of the year. Were you able to cop the “Weatherman” when they released? Are you still on the hunt for pair? Let us know in the comments and on Twitter.
