It was the first time Nike released this annual creation to the public (in previous years, it was a friends & family release). 2010?s Black History Month Air Force 1 drew inspiration from individuals behind the Harlem Renaissance, economic empowerment and the rise of Black enterprise. The black leather upper features various, monochromatic print that reads, ?The definition of a renaissance individual: one who possesses a multitude of skills, talent and a broad base of knowledge.?
