We have received a few major Nike Air Force 1s this year so far (“Year of the Rabbit”, Denim/Metallic Bronze, “Black History Month”) this year. However, today’s ‘In Retrospect’ takes you back to one of the biggest Air Force 1 releases of last year in the form of the “Jones Beach” Nike Air Force 1. Although the “Jones Beach” Nike Air Force 1 released last summer, its initial release happened during the summer of 2009. Yet, many sneaker enthusiasts were able to snag this shoe easier than in 2009 because Nike released an increased quantity the second time around. It pays tribute to New York?s state park named Jones Beach. The predominately birch-colored canvas signifies the sand seen at the beach, while the line patterns on the leather heel represent the grass spotted at the beach.

Were you able to get your hands on the “Jones Beach” Nike Air Force 1 , and was it worth the money you paid for it? If not, are you wishing you would have snagged them last year (or in 2009)? Lastly, was this one of your favorite Nike Air Force 1 releases of 2010? Let us know your thoughts on the “Jones Beach” Nike Air Force 1 in the comment section below!
