For the hours until the sun comes up and the moon goes down, the AMIRI Skell Toe draws design cues from California skate culture with a shape that mirrors Vans’ Classic Slip-On.

Revamping the vulcanized skate shoe with an Italian canvas construction on the upper, this shoe also incorporates a full leather lining on the insoles with a hand-cut and sewn leather application on the vamp to form its skeletal aesthetic. Complete with metallic “AMIRI” branding on the heels, these shoes also feature an off-white hue on the midsole for a vintage appeal.

Inspired by founder and Creative Director Mike Amiri’s upbringing on Hollywood Boulevard, these slip-ons combine the romance of LA’s rock n’ roll scene with the spirit of Venice’s skate styling. While the brand is known for its nods towards the Lost Boys film, the Skell Toe itself is all about discovering what it’s like to be lost in an oasis of originality.

The AMIRI Skel Toe continues to sell out and is proving to be one of the more popular styles in high-end footwear this summer. There are still a few colorways available on the AMIRI site in a handful of sizes.
