The Hikmet x Mizuno Contender “Snowdrop” Is Inspired by the Flower

Before going viral for eating ice cream out of the highly-coveted Ben & Jerry’s x Nike SB Dunk Low, Hikmet Sugoer was busy creating his own brand, SONRA, and working with SoleBox.

After creating his own footwear silhouettes in-house, Hikmet has now been tapped by Mizuno for a collaborative Contender inspired by the snowdrop flower, as reported by Sole Retriever. The silhouette’s springtime vibe is all thanks to the flower’s white, green, and light grey colorway. White arrives on the mesh base and midsole while contrasting green appears on the midfoot, laces, and upper.

In terms of branding, Mizuno’s vector logo is spotlighted on the panels, while Hekmet’s “JJ” logo is embossed into the tongues. Rounding out the final details of the Hikmet x Mizuno Contender “Snowdrop” is the foam midsole and black rubber outsole.

Fans can expect the Hikmet x Mizuno Contender “Snowdrop” to release on February 17 via SONRA’s website for €140 EUR (Approx $150 USD). Keep it locked to our Sneaker Release Dates Calendar for updates.
