Foot Locker is teaming up with adidas to launch sneakers exclusively designed by adidas athletes and after Damian Lillard put his spin on the adidas NMD_R1.V2, Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Henry Ruggs III is up next with a collaborative adidas Superstar.
The sneaker features a blue suede upper, which is Ruggs’ favorite color, with the rear of the sneaker featuring a unique overlay that flips up over the heeltab which features “Do Something Great” engraved in gold. Exaggerated grey suede is used on the lace overlays and gold detailing is seen with “HRIII” debossed in gold foil on the lateral side replacing the Superstar branding. More gold is seen on the tongue tag of the Trefoil which sits on a chenille tongue tag and contrast stitching throughout. The liner features more chenille for a cozy touch and the shell toe and midsole is seen in Off White.
The Henry Ruggs III x adidas Superstar is set to drop on September 22nd on adidas.com and will be available online and in-store at Foot Locker as well.
