Hot off the heels of debuting the BAPE SK8 STA, lauded streetwear brand BAPE has tapped rapper Gunna for a collaborative BAPE STA silhouette and T-shirt.
Set to release this weekend, the Gunna x BAPE STA is inspired by the artist’s Wunna album, which will also be releasing. Gunna’s take on the cult classic sneaker features an upper crafted out of premium black leather overlays, along with contrasting green heels and STA motifs on the mid-panels. The green overlays and toe box have all been embossed with BAPE’s ubiquitous CAMO print. Rounding out the final design cues are Gunna’s logo on the tongue tabs and his signature “Slatt” catchphrase embroidered into each heel.
Look for the Gunna x BAPE STA Low to release on February 6 via Gunna’s website, BAPE.com, and select BAPE brick-and-mortars. The retail price is set at $389.
