Gucci brought adidas to Milan Fashion Week as the Italian fashion house previewed its Fall/Winter 2022 collection, featuring the upcoming Gucci x adidas collaboration. The collection includes a full range of footwear and even apparel items, all of which incorporate Gucci’s high quality construction.
Sportswear meets fashion as Gucci adds a touch of luxury to classic adidas aesthetics. In all honesty, it feels like these brands were made for each other as their varying styles somehow fit hand-in-hand seamlessly. Under the creative direction of Alessandro Michele, the collection has a ‘70s style vibe with wide-leg pantsuits that complement the silhouettes of the adidas Gazelle. The collaboration also offers premium leather boots, which pair incredibly with the collection’s fabrics that include lamé, crochet, leather, snakeskin, fur, and more. Other footwear options include a clog, loafer, and platform slide. The designs keep both the brands identities at the forefront as iconic adidas insignias like the Trefoil and Three-Stripes adorn the suits, sneakers, and accessories.
