| Former Boston Celtics and Hall of Fame point guard Bob Cousy was not only regarded as the first great point guard, but was also the first pro basketball player to be intertwined with a sneaker company. That vintage shoe company is none other than PF Flyers.
With that said, Seattle sneaker shop GEMS has called on PF Flyers to help them host a celebration that will honor Cousy’s 6 championship rings and 1957 NBA MVP Award. The opening ceremony will be held from 7PM to 10PM on March 4th, 2009. During the celebration, there will be free give-a-ways, light appetizers and a live DJ.
