GANNI and New Balance have unveiled their second collaboration during the Danish fashion brand’s Copenhagen Fashion Week runway show. Once again the partnership brings together the fashion-forward aesthetics of GANNI with New Balance’s heritage and expertise in athletic footwear.
The upcoming range will comprise sustainable and reworked iterations of New Balance’s classic 1906R and RC30 silhouettes, the former arriving on two colorways of “Egret” and “Blazing Yellow” and the latter in “Bumblebee Black/Yellow.”
The limited-edition sneakers are heavily injected with the design aesthetics of early 2000s runners, however, reimaged for today’s contemporary crowd. The standout of the two models would have to be the GANNI x New Balance 1906R with its textured mesh uppers, rope laces, and branded heel tabs. On the other hand, the toned-down GANNI x New Balance RC30 is an everyday go-to.
The latest GANNI x New Balance range will release on August 16. The 1906R collaboration will be available for purchase via GANNI and New Balance’s websites, along with their brick-and-mortar locations. The retail price is set at $170.
