Recently, the two 2010 Future Sole Competition Finalists visited the Nike campus to present their interesting, unique and highly-detailed design concepts. Chris Dixon likened his Jordan Phase 23 design to specific track and field events. Additionally, breathability was a big focus for Dixon as he incorporated 24 perforation holes in honor of the 24 Jordan Brand members. Allen Largin’s Jordan Melo M7 design was inspired by the clean lines and durability of Indy cars. It included a graphical implementation of Flywire and the word ‘Swaggerific’ printed on the inside of the tongue in honor Carmelo Anthony. As for the t-shirt design concept, Trevor Gessay incorporated 10 different designs that included trash-talking, workout gear and sneaker culture
