Back in ?95 J-Kidd pushed the then new school of Nike ballers and sneakers with the help from Kevin Garnett, Joe Smith, Jimmy Jackson, and Eddie Jones. Black nubuck and white branding were everywhere as they showcased the new wave of Nike products, highlighted by the Zoom Flight 95. KRS-One channeled Gil Scott-Heron, plugging the roster and taking on social media.
Fast forward to 2011: Jason Kidd looks to take on a new revolution of Nike hoopers led by Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook, and James Harden. While no one from the 1995 campaign endorses the brand today, the revolution did take place, and it was televised.
