Our last Footwear Faceoff saw Toronto rapper Drake and his Air Jordan 8 Retro “Ray Allen” sneakers beating out Wale and his Nike Air Total Max Uptempo. However, today we witness another Footwear Faceoff between two of the more relevant rappers in the game today.
Reports have stated that Chi-town native Kanye West has been feverishly recording his upcoming album at his hideaway in Hawaii. Yet, lately he was spotted in New York rocking a white tee, some jeans and the Jordan Spizike “Fresh Since ’85”. If you recall, this sneaker, in which many of you labeled the best Spizike to release so far this year, released on February 20th, 2010. As for Fabolous, he was spotted this past weekend in Miami at the ?Heineken Inspire? event series rocking the yet-to-be-released Air Jordan 9 Retro “Citrus”. Upon showing you this sneaker, a lot of you incorporated it into your must-have list. Does Kanye get the edge for returning to the spotlight with his Spizikes or are Fabolous’s “Citrus” Air Jordan 9s too ‘nice’?
