When discussing the history of streetwear and sneakers in Los Angeles, both Undefeated and the Nike Cortez rise to the top of the list. Though uniquely separate up until this point, the two finally align for the forthcoming UNDFTD x NikeLab Cortez SP “LA” edition.
Deeply seeded in the city’s DNA, the Cortez is updated thanks to both UNDFTD and NikeLab in a sleek black base alongside white and royal Swoosh branding and a multicolored Phylon midsole.
The letters “L” and “A” appear at the heel counter tying back to the city while UNDFTD logo branding finds placement at the insole. Lastly, in more understated yet expressive details, “Por Vida” is noted on the lace-tips and “UNDFTD ’02” on the lace lock.
Look for the UNDFTD x NikeLab Cortez SP “LA” release on November 5 both online and at Undefeated chapters.
