The NBA season just started three days ago, but alas, the holiday season is already upon us. Trust, we’re happy about both, as Christmas Day and the corresponding full slate of holiday hoops action is less than two months away.
Today, adidas unveils the uniforms set to be worn on Christmas Day during the NBA action. For those keeping track at home, Christmas Day uniforms in the past have been interesting of sorts, seeing sleeves style players across the court as well as tonal takes on team colors.
This year’s lineup is more classic and conservative compared to kits of Christmas past, playing off gift card font and using a sleeveless silhouette. Team tones are balanced with that of cream coloring, while seasonal script and seal stamping further evoke the gift card collection.
In addition to the jerseys, Stance Socks will be providing socks that play off holiday sweater imagery. On top of that, this preview also gives us an early look at what appear to be Christmas colorways of the adidas D Rose 6, Crazy 8 and D Rose 773 IV.
