Christmas may be time to spend opening and exchanging gifts with friends and family, but for basketball fans, it’s a day spent watching five games featuring marquee matchups. It’s pretty much ingrained in basketball culture at this point and with that are iconic sneakers that have been debuted for Christmas Day games.
ESPN has all five games airing on their family of networks and has partnered up with the live stream shopping platform NTWRK to give away iconic holiday-themed or released sneakers leading up to the Christmas Day games. The sneakers featured in the giveaway are two pairs of the Nike Kobe 6 Protro “Grinch”, Nike Kobe 8 “Christmas”, Air Jordan 11 “Jubilee”, and the Air Jordan 4 “Fire Red”.
The event is taking place on December 21st from 5-6 PM PST, in-person and digital at Crypto.com Arena. Fans can enter via the NTWRK app, search ESPN, click on the episode title, and select the sneakers they’re interested in. Hosted by Kylie Mark and recording artists Money Man and Young Bleu, they’ll countdown the 10 most memorable holiday moments of the NBA before announcing the winners of the sneakers.
