Engineered Garments founder and longtime Converse fan, Daiki Suzuki, lends his unique ability to reshape and reimagine design to a new collaborative collection surrounding current sneaker industry darling, the One Star.
Suzuki, recalling past eras and personal memories of the Converse shoe, aesthetically alters its course by subtly manipulating its branding with the Star Chevron, Stars & Bars, and two other variations for the customary star to complete the four-piece collection. All are drenched in premium leather, material implementation aligned with Suzuki’s design ethos and Converse’s versatility over the years.
Look for the Engineered Garments x Converse One Star collection debut at Nepenthes in NYC on October 4. A wider launch will follow a day later, October 5, at Converse stores and Converse.com.
