Celebrate 420 in Style With the DIZYGOTIC x Cheech & Chong “Next Shoe”

Following this “Journey from 420 to 710” offering released late last year, DIZYGOTIC is once again celebrating 420 with another Cheech & Chong sneaker offering. This time dubbed the “Next Shoe”, the DIZYGOTIC x Cheech & Chong “Next Shoe” tells the story of the iconic comedy duo Cheech Marin and Tommy Chong’s second movie in 1980: Cheech & Chong’s Next Movie.

The pair sports a retro “Cobalt Blue” and “Hemp Brown” outfit made from a variety of different materials that shouts out to the duo’s iconic outfits as seen in the film. Noteworthy details include the polka dot mudguards that nod to Cheech’s shirt as well as Tommy’s bandana with the exact same pattern. Faux sheepskin and corduroy heels represent Chong’s vest and Cheech’s beanie, while real horsehair is used to reflect Cheech’s second character Cousin Red’s grey animal skin. Final details include the velvet lining, insoles printed with Cheech & Chong’s famous lowrider van decal, as well as a pair of “Ain’t that a peach” napkin cloth inserts, which are inspired by one of the funny magic scenes performed by the duo, is included in the shoes.

The sneaker itself is made from an all-premium top-grain pigskin suede upper, with a perforated suede toe box and Cheech Marin and Tommy Chong embroideries reflecting their classic movie characters.
