As with the previous two New Balance MT580 “Spy vs. Spy” choices, Distinct Life’s Rick Williams stated that he is intrigued by New Balance sneakers that tell a story. For day 12 of the Distinct Life x New Balance 30 for 30 series, he chose to rock with the “Freedom Trail” CNCPTS x New Balance 1500. Designed by Concept’s Frank “The Butcher” Rivera, this shoe draws inspiration from Boston’s Freedom Trail. The takes visitors to 16 historical sites in the course of two or three hours and covers two and a half centuries of America’s most significant past. A red brick line connects the sites on the Trail and serves as a guide. The shoe was intended to reflect the actual color of the trail and its painted line.
