Last week, we reported on how fans in the Chicago area had a chance to meet Derrick Rose at the launch of the adidas D Rose 5 at the State Street Foot Locker location, and now we’re back with a full recap of the event. The day began with Derrick hosting 20 children from the local nonprofit After School Matters at the Chicago adidas store for an intimate Q&A session where he gave advice on how to pursue your dreams and work hard to achieve them. Derrick presented each fan with their own pair of the adidas D Rose 5, signed autographs and took photos to commemorate the moment. Then D Rose moved on to Foot Locker, where hundreds of fans were ready to for a chance to meet him and get an autograph.
