For its latest collaboration, Vault by Vans has tapped Los-Angeles based artist Deaton Chris Anthony for a bowling-inspired capsule.
The collection, which additionally pays homage to Anthony’s home state of Kansas, includes the OG SCS LX, the Knu Skool VLT LX, as well as a range of apparel and accessory items.
For the OG SCS LX, the pair boasts a tri-colored pebbled leather upper in red, white and blue and is equipped with a Velcro closure as seen on many bowling shoes. Siped treaded gum sole round out the design cues of this offering.
On the other hand, the Knu Skool VLT is inspired by the artist’s memories of mowing the lawn and sports a classic white outfit with added greased-treated uppers to mimic grass stains.
For the clothing, the mix-and-match pieces are all injected with Anthony’s DIY aesthetic. Items include a puffer jacket, hoodie, overalls, and a beanie.
