Whether it’s music or Dunks, De La Soul has hits.
Dropping high and low top SB collabs in 2005 only to have them flip-flopped in 2015, we see what could’ve been today as the unreleased De La Soul x Nike SB Dunk Low “AOI” surfaces for the first time.
Inspired by 2001’s AOI: Bionix album, the De La album led by the single “Baby Phat” could’ve sparked a Kimora Lee Simons collab but instead spawned this silver, unreleased SB.
Giving the SB Dunk Low a metallic makeover, album nods appear on the heel branding with black and white accents playing to the cover art. It’s uncertain as to just when this pair was made as SB Dunks didn’t debut til the year following the album’s December release.
