New Balance continues to celebrate the 991v2 silhouette as the brand has announced its latest collaboration with Daniëlle Cathari, the Amsterdam-based designer and collaborator.
Known for pushing the boundaries and elevating women’s fashion, Cathari will take her design ethos into the footwear world with the upcoming Danielle Cathari x New Balance 991v2 “Matcha” colorway.
The collaborative “Matcha” New Balance 991v2 is designed with the rich green hue across the silhouette’s suede details. A deep chocolate brown is found on the shoe’s mesh base. Its signature metallic details are found on the heel, tongue and toe box as well. A white and sail midsole completes the delicacy. And finally, Cathari’s name is found on the tongue, cementing the partnership.
The Danielle Cathari x New Balance 991v2 “Matcha” releases on February 9, 2024, exclusively via Kith raffle, according to Cathari. A wider release date is not anticipated at this time.
