Nowadays, we pretty much have a handle on most upcoming launches for weeks and months leading up their release date. Every so often though, a surprise release hits, like this “Gauntlet” edition of Damian Lillard’s debut signature adidas model.
Originally made as a PE for AAU players to wear at adidas Basketball’s “The Gauntlet” tournament during the adidas Uprising summer basketball season, it was always thought that this metallic silver and graphic-laden pair would remain an exclusive.
Over the weekend, a run of pairs surprisingly popped up at Eastbay, making one of the most well-received colorways of the DLillard 1 finally obtainable for fans. There are still some sizes of the “Gauntlet” adidas DLillard 1 available over at Eastbay now.
