Moccasin inspired details are becoming a popular feature within the realm of sneakers. Although people would suggest that Moccasin themed kicks have been around for years, the abundance of talented sneaker artists has pushed those aforementioned details to the forefront. This was captured perfectly within the “Rain Maker” AF1 Low Custom by GourmetKickz.
Featuring decadent detailing throughout the upper, GourmentKickz fused “dreamcatcher” imagery within the toebox, along with employing rich premium leather that accentuates the sneaker. Also included within the custom, GourmetKickz utilized turquoise suede cord and embossed Swooshes. The fringe moccasin seen along the ankle collar were created in hues of light turquoise and is removable via a buffalo coin screw cap and beaded tassel.
This sneaker is a part of an upcoming collaborative series between GourmetKickz and members of the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation, which the series is entitled “Native Soles.” To see more, check out the detailed images below.
