Boston based boutique Concepts is no stranger to stunning collaborations. Their long time partnership with Nike has produced numerous anticipated launches including the Concepts x Nike SB “Lobster” Pack and its upcoming “Purple Lobster” Nike Dunk SB.
While the skate scene is home to many of Concepts’ famed collabs, we’ve seen some of their work surface on the NBA court. Last year, the Blue Lobster themed Nike Kyrie 4 PE makes the whole sneaker industry buzz. Unfortunately, the shoe never scored an official general release.
Thankfully, Concepts and NBA superstar Kyrie Irving are back again and working on Kyrie’s newest signature sneaker, the Nike Kyrie 5.
Drawing inspiration from all-seeing eye within the Kyrie’s Hamsa hand tattoo, Concepts creative director Deon Point digs the idea further and brings the glowing limestone of the pyramid to the shoe.
The new Concepts x Nike KYRIE 5 “Ikhet” features a cream upper with a lavender outsole, finished off with gold accents including the Nike Swoosh branding and the signature Kyrie Irving all seeing eye emblem on the back of the heels.
