C2H4 Quark Alpha Pewter & Atom Alpha x Mastermind Japan

For the Spring/Summer 2021 season, C2H4 has revamped its Atom Pewter silhouette, in addition to teaming up with Japanese streetwear stalwart Mastermind Japan on a pair of Atom Alphas.

Helmed by LA-based designer Yixi Chen, C2H2’s aesthetic remains true throughout the C2H2 x Mastermind Japan “Atom Alpha”, which boasts military-inspired design cues such as the hi-boot and laces wrapping around the ankle. In terms of construction this stealthy option sports a premium suede upper and Vibram soles. Branding comes in on the metal key tag, lateral chain, and tongue tab, which showcases Mastermind Japan’s signature skull and bones insignia.

Over on the C2H2 Quark Alpha Pewter, the silhouette keeps true to its skating influence. The low-top sneaker sports a chunky Vibram sole and arrives in an “Abrasion Grey” upper. Elevating the look are musical notes and a bass clef.
