Following collaborations with Eames and Keith Haring, Reebok is now tapping famed Japanese imprint BEAMS and France’s Paperboy Paris for a new sleek take on the Club C Legacy.
With a trio of powerhouses behind its design, this BEAMS x Paperboy Paris x Reebok Club C Legacy forgoes any hint of color and instead keeps to white neutrals to dress everything from its leather paneling, laces, sole unit, and lining. The only contrasting accents arrive on the branded heel, tongue tab, and mid-panel which imitates a penciled font that in the like of the shop’s signage. Elsewhere, a “milk boy,” a close cousin of the paperboy mascot, is spotlighted on the tongue tabs.
On the collaboration, James Dridi, PaperBoy Paris Founder shared in an official press release, “Here at PaperBoy, we’re all kids of the ‘90’s and have worn the Club C since our childhood. It’s a dream come true to have the chance to design new iterations of the Club C silhouettes, especially with BEAMS, our emblematic partner.”
The BEAMS x Paperboy Paris x Reebok Club C Legacy will be available for purchase on Paperboyparis.shop beginning October 22, on Reebok.com and select fashion retailers on October 29, and Beams.co.jp on October 30. The pair will retail for $120.
The trio will also be releasing a collaborative BEAMS x Paperboy Paris x Reebok Club C 85, which will be available for purchase exclusively from PaperBoy Paris and BEAMS on the same dates.
