BAIT continues to bring the anime-inspired heat and with Sunrise Studios and adidas consortium, a BAIT x Cowboy Bebop x adidas Consortium Matchplay collaboration is set to drop later this week.
Using the sneaker the late great Arthur Ashe played in, the adidas Matchplay, the sneaker is dressed in all-black leather and tongue. The 3 Stripes is perforated on the side panel, similarly seen on the adidas Stan Smith and the lateral heel features the Cowboy Bebop debossed in white. The tongue features the adidas Trefoil on the right sneaker, with co-branding of BAIT and Cowboy Bebop on the left and the heeltab is also mismatched with the right seen on red and the left in blue respectively. Both heeltabs feature “COWBOY BEBOP” debossing with the Trefoil and the B logo debossed as well.
The adidas Consortium Matchplay uses a vulcanized sole with a stingray print that surrounds the midsole in a glossy black and the collaboration comes with 3 different sets of laces for preferred styling options.
The BAIT x Cowboy Bebop x adidas Consortium Matchplay is set to drop at US BAIT chapter stores on September 18th with a raffle to purchase the sneaker live on BAITme.com for $120. Check out the editorial photos from BAIT below.
